Save the Date: Preventive Medicine 2003

CMA CEO Jack Lewin, M.D., will be a featured speaker at the annual conference of the American College of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Lewin has been invited to discuss the role of physicians in bioterrorism preparedness and response. Other conference topics include: emergency preparedness, racial disparities in health care, international tobacco policies, and clinical updates in both men’s and women’s health.

Other features speakers at the event include:

John Seffrin, CEO of the American Cancer Society will deliver the keynote address,

Stanton Glantz, PhD from the University of California, San Francisco will headline a plenary session on international tobacco policy,

George Lundberg, Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of Medscape will present on "The Future Roles of Preventive Medicine Specialists in Quality Improvement and E-Health",

Reed Tuckson, Senior Vice President for UnitedHealth Group, discussing the role of health plans in reducing health disparities,

Wayne Lednar, Corporate Medical Director at Eastman Kodak, addressing emerging issues in occupational medicine.
