CMA Issues Language
Access Principles
CMA is a member of the Medical Leadership Council for Language Access (MLC), convened by the Academy of Family Physicians through a grant from the California Endowment to develop and improve language assistance programs for limited English proficient (LEP) patients. CMA and MLC have developed a list of principles for physicians to follow when providing patients with translation or interpreter services. Click here to download these principles.
