Physician Corps Loan Repayment Bill on Governor's Desk AB 982 (Firebaugh D-East Los Angeles), which establishes the California Physician Corps Loan Repayment Program has been sent to the Governor's desk awaiting his signature. This CMA sponsored bill will provide physicians a maximum of $105,000 in loan repayment for up to three years of service in a medically underserved area of the state.
